Are you passionate about heavy equipment sales and seeking a dynamic role in a reputable Caterpillar dealership? We are currently seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in South Florida. As an essential part of our sales division, you`ll play a key role in driving revenue and building customer relationships in the construction and industrial sectors.

Location: SOUTH FLORIDA

• Palm Beach
• Dade
• Broward County

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Sales Manager in overseeing the sales team and achieving departmental goals.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and achieve sales targets.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.

- Collaborate with marketing and service departments to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within heavy equipment or related industry.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

- Bi-lingual is preferred

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
